Hi and welcome to our very last challenge for October! Don't worry, you've still got a few days up your sleeves to finish off this one, and any of the others that you've been waiting to try out.
To remind you, this is a "Scrap it Blind" challenge which means I give you a list of supplies and instructions about how to put your page together, but you don't get to see my finished layout until the end of the month. It's always amazing to see how many different pages we get as we all interpret the instructions slightly differently. And of course, you can always adjust and alter the directions to suit your supplies.
The theme this week is "Up in the Sky" so I want to see something on your page with wings! Think butterflies, birds, planes, bugs, fairies etc etc.
Here's a sneak to entice you......

and don't panic about how you can see canvas shapes in my sneak when you're thinking "but I don't own any canvas!!!" :silly: :silly: You can easily substitute these for any embellishments, and in fact in my supplies and instructions I've just listed them as papers! :P
Supplies:
Photos: either 3 photos measuring approximately 3x3"
OR 1 landscape photo 6x4" and 1 smaller 3x3" photo
Cardstock: One 12x12" base cardstock (or patterned paper)
Paper: First paper 10.5 x 10.5"
Second paper 11.5 x 11.5"
Third paper (with detailed design that you can fussy-cut out) any size that fits!
Embellishments: alphabet stickers, stamps, journal stickers.... whatever takes your fancy!
Instructions:
Don't worry girls... this one is easy - but the beauty is in the finished details :)
1. Cut your first paper to 10.5 x 10.5 inches. This is going to be the main paper you see when you look at the layout, it will become the 'background' if you like.
2. Cut your second paper to 11.5 x 11.5 inches and stick it behind your first paper. See how it creates a lovely border? In fact, you could just use border stickers for this step if you like.
3. Stick both these layers onto your background cardstock. Now you've got a lovely layered edge to your page.
4. Stick two of your smaller photos (or your large one instead) in the bottom left corner, and the other smaller one in the top right corner.
5. Your title stretches out right across the middle of the page. I've used two different alpha stickers and a hand-painted word, so feel free to mix it up a little!
6. Fussy cut some pretty papers or layer some embellishments in the top left and bottom right corners. You can also stamp in the background to add some details if you like.
7. Add some journaling beside the top right photo, and in any other little gaps that are left!
8. Add some doodling, splash some Glimmermist around and call it done!!
