I used
Hero Arts Sparkle clear Merry Christmas set to do these cards. It is a great value small set at less than $10 and even comes with some gemstones to help you get decorating.
I also used BasicGrey nook and pantry, Jilibean soup kraft paper and Spellbinders dies all available in the shop.
I'm going to go through each card with a quick explanation of what technique I used to hopefully give you some inspiration and get more out of your stamps
This one is straight quick and easy stamping with dye ink. For this simple image it is all about the bling- gemstones on the center tree and glitter on the side trees.
Tip: you can colour clear gems with permanent pens to give more colour options, I used a BIC pastel marker.
I have heat embossed the tree trio image using white powder on red cardstock, then cut the main tree out.
This is my favourite card. I have stamped the tree trio using versamark ink then stamped it again twice on the BACK of the patterned kraft cardstock and cut out the main tree which has been placed over the stamped image on the card with adhesive foam. The white dots on the small trees are liquid pearls. The star is also part of the stamp set and has been heat embossed with silver powder.
No trees on this one! Just straight stamping with dye ink onto kraft cardstock. Just a reminder that stamping doesn't have to be all about fancy techniques and products. The ink also doubles for defining the edges of the card and patterned paper.
