Ah, that brings back memories. Thanks be to all that Aiden O'Brien doesn't have a runner this year. What a farce his tactics made the race last year. I can't remember what we backed, it wasn't Viewed! All I remember is that the majority of horses had no chance when those three pommy horses ran the first mile in such a crazy time. It became a test of fitness rather than a test of quality; and well Bart's horses are always fit. But who could know that such madness would be employed. And Viewed hasn't won since although he has run a few nice races lately, so perhaps he might repeat. He's stronger this year too.

Caulfield Cup on Sat - so the spring is truly underway. Maybe it will yield more clues. I can't see why Kirklees is favourite, although Godolphin reckon he's better than All the Good who won for them last year. But he's only won a Gr3 in England last start and it's nearly 3 years since he was competitive in this level of racing. Still winning form is hard to overlook. Not sure about Predatory Pricer either - even tho I love him; but can't see him getting the trip. I'd love to be wrong about him, he really deserves a big race win. At the moment our money is on Fiumicino, but only if it rains.... Which means that we really don't know yet.

But for this layout, well, I have some ideas - maybe I should print out my photo of me at the Golden Slipper; or one of the ones at a recent stud tour (a profile for work that I had to do). Or perhaps in keeping with the mad tactics, a photo of the boys at top speed with a subtitle.... Ready, Set, Go (at top speed)???

Hi Sharon,
I think Heike means anything that relates to time...possible embellishments or papers could have clocks, or dates, or seasons.....
OR, you could think of it in terms of a duration of time - maybe a date, an anniversary of some sort, or even a series of photos spanning a period of time?
You could represent something you do time and time again, or something you have done for the first time.
Fairly loose interpretations there.
Hope that helps.

Ok, mine is up!

Partly as a fun thing for the racing theme, and partly b/c I had so much to do yesterday, I set myself a 30 min deadline to do mine- so it looks unfinished to me, but not enlessly agonising over a layout was enjoyable in its own way.

AND THEY'RE OFF!
